Possible Unresponsiveness

I’ve been travelling a lot the last week and, while I’m home for a few days, will soon be off again until early next week. I should have internet access in the hotel this time but last weekend it was difficult for me to check and respond to emails as quickly as I would like.

This time I’m going to Italy and they’re threatening a general transport strike, so I could just be stuck in an airport or on a train somewhere, going nowhere.

    Yes, they’re always having transport strikes (or some other kind of strike) here. :-(

    If you find yourself in Florence during your trip please let me know. I’d enjoy meeting you and would like to take you out for a beer. Or, more appropriately here in Italy, a glass of wine, or an espresso, or a limoncello, or some gelato…

    Oh sure, but I’m actually attending a conference in Milan, so I don’t have much room for manoeuvre. Thanks for the offer, Dave! I’ll keep that in mind.
