		<description>I think you&#039;ve hit the nail on the head when you said that Leopard marks the beginning of a new phase of Mac OS X. There&#039;s a lot of technologies introduced and discontinued with Leopard that really drives this point home. I don&#039;t think we&#039;ll see the full effects of 64 bit support, the beginning of the end of Carbon, resolution independence, QTKit and the lack of C QuickTime API in 64 bit until 10.6. Then of course, there&#039;s Core Animation, which can only get better as video cards improve and developers can use it to its full potential.</description>
