Looks like you leveraging some of Leopard's 300+ new features. Are your using the FSEvents to get updates about your library/files? Another good new Leopard feature is the new live links to the ical and address book databases. You already allow importing of the ical events and contacts, it might be easy for you to give direct access to them within Together.

The decision of only putting meta into the library file was a good call. That probably really helps speed especially with spotlight and gives piece of mind about my data.

Wow, this new release is leaps and bounds ahead of KIT. Fantastic job!

One thing I've noticed is when dragging items into the sidebar, I have nested folders and they expand crazy fast, so I end up having to scroll through all my main and subfolders. Is there anyway to slow it down slightly, or change the functionality a bit so I can scroll down while dragging an item, but not open a subfolder immediately?

Once again, this software looks great. I own DevonThink, but don't use it's advanced functionality, and Yojimbo's options are a bit too light. This seems juuuust right. :)

Ah yes, you're right! I slipped in the one about importing yesterday and forgot to change this one.

If I commit to a regular schedule, that will be the death of me, but I will try posting tips in the weeks to come. Thanks, Tod.

Quoting from the first sentence above: "This is the fourth post in a series highlighting some of the new features and improvements in Together 2.0 - formerly known as KIT."

An Easter Egg for sharp-eyed readers? This is actually the 5ifth post, following "New Features," "Searching," "Editing," and "Importing."

Altogether an extremely helpful and educational series, Steve. Thanks for taking the time to provide these lessons for us. Though I can't think of what might follow, I hope your time permits more of these - perhaps weekly? - or am I wishing for too much?
