Together Mac App Store Version Differences
The Mac App Store version is a sandboxed application and has the following restrictions:
- You need to manually install the "Save PDF to Together" service. The installer is available on the Together Downloads page.
- You need to manually install Import Hot Key scripts from the Script Library page on this site the first time you use them.
- Importing from the Finder with the import hot key cannot move or link to files (copies will be made instead).
- You cannot open files for printing in applications (instead, open the files in the other app and print manually).
- Web archives will be quarantined. This will prevent you opening them in other apps unless you take further action. See Why does OS X say a web archive is damaged when I try to open it? for a workaround.
- Together will not be able to use apps such as PathFinder as the default file browser.
