Exporting Keep It’s Library

When you export Keep It’s library it will convert notes to RTFD files, and optionally decrypt all encrypted files, making them suitable for other apps.

To export your library:

Choose Keep It > Library > Export Library from the menu

If you have any encrypted files in your library:

Click Continue to authenticate so that they can be decrypted, otherwise click Skip

Keep It can export the library in such a way that it can recreate everything in the original library. If that is your intention:

Select “Include metadata”

Then, either way:

Set a name for the exported folder and click Export

Keep It will begin the export operation.

Importing an Exported Library

To import an exported library that includes a metadata file:

Choose Keep It > Import > Exported Library from the main menu
Select the folder Keep It exported
Click Import
