Icon View
- Switch to icon view by tapping the mode button below the items list to show the list settings.
- Thumbnails can be displayed as small, medium or large icons.
- Additional info can be shown below each item’s name, either automatically depending on how the list is sorted, or one of kind, tags or size.
- Tap and hold on the icons to see a menu where you can add a favorite, organize the item, remove the item from the current list, or remove the download for the item.
Item List
- Items in the list now animate when added, removed or renamed, and performance is improved.
- When swiping on an item, tap the organize icon to add an item to a bundle, move it to a folder, change its label or add tags.
- Fixed a problem scrolling the list from certain positions when the tag filter is visible.
Notes
- Added a Monospaced style.
- It’s now possible to save the style of the selected text in notes as a custom style. Tap Save Selection as Style below the list of available styles.
- It’s now possible to customize the standard note styles, including the Body style, which is used as the default for new notes. Tap Edit Styles below the list of available styles.
- Notes can now have default background colours other than white. Set this by customising the Body style.
- When chosen, the Body style is no longer applied to the entire paragraph.
Rich Text
- The default font for rich text is now shared across devices via iCloud.
Previews
- The name of the date being edited is now shown when editing an item’s file info.
Files App Support
- See thumbnails in the Files app.
- See Quick Look previews for notes in the Files app and any app that uses Quick Look previews.
Tags
- When appropriate, an “Untagged” item is now shown as the last item in the tag filter.
Search
- Added a Search section to item settings where you can choose what is searched when using free text. This can be overridden by using keywords such as tag: or date:.
Importing
- It’s now possible to specify a top-level folder or bundle as the default import destination in Library settings. This will be selected as the default in the Share extension and Import view, or when dragging to an inappropriate list, such as Deleted Items.
iCloud
- Added a “Download Items When Viewing” option to Settings. When enabled (default) items will be automatically start downloading when viewed. When disabled, a download button will be shown instead.
- Added “Use Mobile Data for Thumbnails” to Settings to control whether to download large thumbnails over a cellular connection. This setting is disabled by default.
General
- Keep It now requires iOS 11 or later.
- New app icon.
