Quick Open
- Press Command-Shift-O to show Quick Open Panel for quickly searching groups, tags and items by name.
- Results show the icon, name and path.
- Use the Up and Down arrows to select items without leaving the search field.
- Press the Enter key from the search field to open the item in a tab or select the group in the groups outline.
- Press Escape to close without opening anything.
Info
- When multiple items are selected, showing the Info pop-over shows a different view that can be used to edit those items, including adding or replacing tags.
- The Preview menu now always has an "Info" submenu for showing and hiding mini Info fields.
- Mini info name, tags and comments fields now resize with text.
- Links in mini info comments are now clickable.
- The mini info view now has a optional line to show the item's path.
Previews
- On OS X Mavericks, it is now possible to export notes as PDF files by choosing Export as PDF from the File menu.
- Added a preference to show the ruler by default in rich text documents.
- Added the ability to create web PDFs from existing bookmarks and web archives.
- Improved handling of errors when saving.
- Notes and text documents can now use hyphenation and vertical layout.
- When dragging files or items to source code files, link URLs are now inserted the same as for plain text files.
- In the Mac App Store version, Quick Look previews are now displayed using the system-supplied Quick Look view, which does not support selecting and highlighting text (including search results) and zooming. Some previews may look different.
- When the preview is hidden, the Preview menu now shows a single item to show a Quick Look preview.
- In the Mac App Store version, there are no Quick Look preview preferences to exclude certain types of files from being previewed.
Labels, Tags and Groups
- Labels shown in the tag browser now use the label color when the outline has focus.
- On OS X Mavericks, Together can now import and update Finder tags on items. Find the settings in Tags preferences.
- On OS X Mavericks and Finder tags are changed, the tags in Together will automatically update if the "Update Finder Tags" preference is enabled in Tags preferences.
- On OS X Mavericks, the tags field is now visible in Save panels when saving files as different formats, and will be pre-populated with the tags from Together.
- Together will now update its tags when OpenMeta tags are updated, if the option to update OpenMeta tags in enabled in Tags preferences.
- The settings for importing and updating Finder and OpenMeta tags are now per-library, and will need to be specified in Tags preferences again, as Together now supports additional features and you need to specify whether to merge or replace the tags in Together with the OpenMeta or Finder tags.
- Together now asks for confirmation before hiding standard smart groups by removing them.
- Improved the appearance of labels in the Label Editor.
iCloud (Mac App Store Only)
- On OS X Mavericks, it's now possible to move existing libraries to iCloud.
- On OS X Mavericks, creating iCloud libraries now happens immediately.
- Together asks for a location when moving iCloud libraries to a local folder.
Library Management
- Added the ability to reveal library files in the Finder to the File > Library menu (disabled for iCloud libraries).
- Removed the Library Manager panel as its functions are now handled by the File > Library Menu.
- In the Mac App Store version, it's now possible to create libraries and link to files on the Desktop.
Main Window
- Cleaner appearance for the headers above the source and item lists.
Fixes
- Fixed a problem where the source list would be visible in a restored tab even though the option was disabled.
- Fixed a problem where the cursor position would not be restored in notes when switching from the tab to the preview.
