Importing Bookmarks

Scrappy can import the bookmarks HTML files that most web browsers and bookmarking services export, preserving the hierarchy, tags and dates, if included.

To import a bookmarks HTML file:

• Click the + button in the toolbar
• Choose Add Files from the menu shown
• Select a single bookmarks HTML file
• Click Import Bookmarks

Note that Scrappy only imports what is included in the file, and is limited to HTTP links. Web links will not have the icons, featured images, and content that you would get if you saved a new web link normally. If you want those things, you must reload each individual link:

• Choose Web Link > Reload Link from the main menu
• Click Reload
