Lists
- Set a color when creating folders or bundles.
Items
- When viewing an item, tap the item title to see a menu with options to rename, move, duplicate, print and export (if applicable) the item on iOS and iPadOS 16.
- On iOS and iPadOS 16 a context menu can now be shown when multiple items are long-pressed or right-clicked.
- Updated support for sharing items either as copies or for sharing items and lists with iCloud on iOS and iPadOS 16.
- Items that are in Deleted Items can no longer be edited, converted, or opened in windows or their original application.
Tags
- On iOS 16 and iPad OS 16.1 multiple tags can be removed in the Tag Filter by tapping and holding on one of the selected tags and choosing Remove from the menu shown.
- Tap the (…) action button above the Tag Filter to choose whether to rename a tag or remove all the selected tags.
Quick Open & Quick File
- Quick Open and Quick File no longer require the order of words typed to match exactly.
Notes
- Choose whether to underline Title / Heading / Subtitle and custom note styles.
- Choose whether to strikethrough custom note styles.
- Styles will now be shown as underlined or struck through in the Edit Styles view, along with the text color.
Text Editing
- Tap the magnifying glass to use Find & Replace when editing notes, rich text, plain text and Markdown files on iOS and iPadOS 16, and whether to match whole words and whether to match found text in a case-sensitive way.
- When searching for items or lists to insert as a clickable links, the order of words typed no longer needs to match exactly.
Markdown
- Markdown source can now be printed with syntax highlighting.
Web Links & Web Pages
- If a web page was using reader mode the last time it was viewed, it’ll be restored if possible — this applies across devices when iCloud is in use.
- When finding occurrences of text on iOS or iPadOS 16, choose whether to match whole words and whether to match found text in a case sensitive way.
- Import web links from a bookmarks HTML such as those exported by a web browser file by tapping +, choosing Files and selecting a single HTML bookmarks file — Keep It will offer to import the bookmarks from the file, or the file itself.
PDFs
- When finding occurrences of text on iOS and iPadOS 16, choose whether to match whole words and whether to match found text in a case sensitive way.
- On iOS 16 and later, text in scanned PDFs can now be found on the page on devices and languages that support Live Text.
Sound Files
- Sound files now show a scrubber and allow the playback speed to be changed.
Import View & Share Extension
- Filter the results when choosing a destination list or item.
Automation
- In Shortcuts, the “Find Items In Keep It” action now has options to find items with checklists and highlighted text.
