Notes, Rich Text & Markdown Files
- Improved Insert Link sheet no longer requires you to specify whether you’re inserting a URL, item or list, and will suggest items and lists while typing in the Link field.
Notes & Editable Text Files
- The “Constrain Width in Full Screen” option for notes and editable text files has been renamed to “Constrain Width” and now also applies in windows on iPadOS 26.
Markdown Files
- Improved Insert Image Link sheet no longer requires you to specify whether you’re inserting an item or URL, and will suggest items while typing in the Link field.
Scanning Documents
- When scanning documents, the name generated now includes the date and time.
- Scanned documents now always have OCR performed on them for available languages.
Shortcuts
- Added an “Append Link” action for appending a clickable link to a note or editable text file. This is an alternative to using the “Add Web Link” action and specifying an item.
- Added a “Match Name Exactly” option to the “Find Items” action to match items by their exact name.
General
- Name generation for notes and web links now includes language-specific support for identifying the first sentence.
- Add tags to items from the Organize button shown below (iPhone) or above (iPad) the previewed document.
- Notes and rich text documents will now show thumbnails for attached PDFs in List View.
- Improved the appearance of the Name, Comments and Source fields in the Info view on iOS 26 and iPadOS 26.
- Improved the appearance of swipe actions and alerts on iOS 26 and iPadOS 26.
