Changes
- Fixed an issue where Keep It may attempt to display the contents an item that’s been decrypted before the updated file has been downloaded.
- When entering a password instead of using Face ID or Touch ID to decrypt an item for viewing, Keep It now only prompts to save the password after the item has been successfully decrypted, and if that password differs to the one already saved.
- Fixed an issue where it would be possible to convert an encrypted item to an attachment on a note, which is not supported.
- Fixed an issue where problems opening documents would not always be reported.

Lists
- Duplicate folders, bundles and saved searches in the Lists view by tapping and holding on the list (or right-clicking) and choosing Duplicate from the menu shown.
- Export individual lists without using drag and drop by tapping and holding on the list and choose Export from the menu shown. Exporting All Items will export everything in the library, preserving the folder structure.
- The contextual menu you see when tapping and holding on a list is now organized into sections.
- Fixed an issue when moving the focused folder or its subfolders to Deleted Items.
Items
- A menu is now shown above the item list, allowing quick access to change how the list is sorted, along with other options.
- It’s now possible to duplicate multiple items, whether or not they have been downloaded - select the items and tap and hold on them to see a menu.
- The tag filter can now be resized between small, medium or large heights, with the last-used height remembered.
- Select consecutive items in list mode by dragging with two fingers.
- On iPad, No Items Found is now shown in the preview area when searching and there are no results.
Notes
- Multiple items can now be merged into a single note by tapping and holding on the items and choosing Merge into Note from the menu. Notes, rich text, plain text, HTML, Markdown files and email messages will become text in the note (with Markdown files formatted with the current Keep It note styles), PDFs and images will be shown as inline attachments, web links as tappable text, and all other files as attachments. When merging you can set the order items should appear, whether to separate each item with a divider, and whether to move the originals to Deleted Items (which can be undone).
- Any item can now either be converted to a note, or an attachment on a note by tapping the action button above a preview and choosing Convert to Note from the menu. Editable text items such as rich text, plain text, and Markdown files will be converted to notes, along with mail messages and web pages that can be shown in reader mode, while all other files will be converted to an attachment on a note.
- The Link Color and Underline Links settings are now in Note Settings rather than the note style editor.
Notes & Rich Text Documents
- When removing formatting, links are now preserved.
Markdown
- Tap on the # button to increase the heading level of the current line. Tap and hold on the button to choose a specific heading level.
Web Links
- When choosing to save an existing web link as a single-page PDF, what is shown on screen will be saved, instead of the page being loaded again (this already applied to paginated PDFs and web archives).
PDFs
- Fixed an issue where PDFs would not be shown after going back to the item list then returning to the same item on iPhone.
Movies
- Movies can now be played in picture-in-picture mode.
Imports
- Create a folder or bundle when using the Share extension or Import view.
General
- When browsing help, it’s now possible to find text on each individual page.
- Keep It for iPad and iPhone 2.2 requires iOS 16.1 or later.
