iPad
- On iPad, Keep It now uses a multi-column layout that adapts to the size of the display.
- The new sidebar uses a cleaner design, and shows the selected list.
Lists
- The Favorites list is now shown with a yellow icon, and deleted folders with grey icons.
- Folders, bundles, and saved searches can now be color-coded by tapping and holding (or right-clicking) on the list and choosing Change Color from the menu.
- Tapping the + button below the Lists view or items list now shows a streamlined menu that lets you add files, photos or videos, web links, new items from stationery, or scan documents.
- Tapping and holding (or right-clicking) on a folder and choosing to create a new folder or bundle will automatically set the parent folder to that folder.
- Dates in saved searches can now be chosen using a calendar.
- Show or hide Unfiled or No Label by editing the Lists view and tapping the + or - buttons.
- The Folders Show All Items setting has moved to Keep It’s section in the Settings app.
Items List
- In list view rows now wrap up to the maximum number of lines specified in View Options when a thumbnail isn’t present.
- The contextual menu is now organized into sections.
- Tag Filter options are now shown in a menu.
Labels
- Standard labels colors now match the system accent colors and adapt for light and dark modes.
- Set custom colors for new and existing labels in the Edit Label panel, or directly in the list by tapping and holding (or right-clicking) on the list and choosing Change Color from the menu.
Items
- Items’ names are now always shown in the title above the preview.
- The Add People button has been moved to the activity sheet and will either appear as “Add People” (if you own the item) or “Sharing Settings” (if the item is shared with you).
- When editing file information for an item, tapping one of the date lines will show (or hide) a calendar.
- Improved the appearance of the word count.
- Added a “Confirm Before Moving to Deleted Items” option to the Items section of Settings. This is enabled by default.
Web Links
- When saving web links as PDFs, choose whether to save as a single-page or a paginated PDF.
Notes & Rich Text Documents
- Now uses the systemwide color picker when choosing text, background, and link colors.
- Added an option to disable the auto-capitalization of sentences. Tap Aa above the keyboard, then the ellipses button to see the option.
- When highlighting selected text, a highlight will be applied unless the entire selection is already highlighted, in which case the highlight will be removed.
Plain Text
- Added options to control smart dashes, smart quotes and autocapitalized sentences. Tap the activity button, then Plain Text Settings to see the options.
Markdown
- Added options to control smart dashes, smart quotes and autocapitalized sentences. Tap the activity button, choose Markdown Settings, and tap Editing Settings to see the options.
PDFs
- Added a highlight toolbar button, tap to add or remove a highlight in the default color. Change the color and add or remove strikethrough or underline by holding on the button to show the menu.
Mail Messages
- Improved the appearance of quoted text.
Shortcuts
- When editing shortcuts in the Shortcuts app, it’s now possible to search for items, folders, labels and bundles.
- See icons when choosing lists and labels in the Shortcuts app.
- When choosing items or lists, their paths are now shown below the name.
- The Get Keep It Item shortcut can now be used to get an item chosen from a searchable list, as well as by identifier or link URL.
